Drew T. Peters brings over a decade of litigation experience to The Peters Firm, PLLC. Drew's desire to help others is apparent in both his legal practice as well as his personal life. As a trial attorney, Drew's attention to detail, command of the Rules of Civil Procedure and Evidence, and practical approach help his clients obtain the best results possible.
Mr. Peters began his legal career as an Assistant County Attorney on the coast of South Texas, where he handled misdemeanor criminal matters and involuntary commitment proceedings. He gained valuable courtroom experience handling numerous cases thru trial.
Drew then returned to North Texas to work for a litigation boutique and manage a docket of vehicular accident cases. He participated in countless depositions, mediations, and hearings, as well as trying nearly 20 cases before a jury as lead counsel.
Before starting his own firm, Mr. Peters also spent nearly a decade at a personal injury defense firm in North Dallas, where he was elevated to partner in 2017. There he handled a diverse litigation docket focusing on transportation liability, premises liability, and other civil litigation matters.
Drew's practice now focuses on business, commercial, and injury litigation for both plaintiffs and defendants. He also provides entity formation, contract drafting/negotiation, and will/trust services.
